REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. A possible bilge dump was detected in satellite imagery by a vessel located 293 nm north-northeast of Bermuda. The slick measured a discontinuous 41 nm overall with the most prominent portion of the slick measuring 21 nm in an unbroken stretch. The anomaly widened with distance from the vessel with a maximum width of 0.7 nm. Winds were from the east at 10 knots at the time of the image.

UNCERTAINTIES: Confidence was high because the anomaly displayed the classic signatures of a bilge dump: abrupt beginning and end points and widening with distance from the vessel. The composition of the anomaly cannot be determined from satellite imagery.
