Remarks:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This anomaly did not have an observed point source, however the anomaly appeared dark against the ocean background and was indicative of oil in multi-spectral imagery. The anomaly measured 4NM long and 3.6NM wide. Winds data during the time of this anomaly were generally out of the east at less than 4kts and did not align well with the orientation of the anomaly.Confidence was determined to be Medium given the lack of a point source and wind data that did not agree with the orientation of the anomaly.
