This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to originate from the location of Destroyed Taylor platform, a source of repeat oil leaks. The anomaly was measured approximately 2.3 NMI long by 0.25 NMI wide. The anomaly shows a faint dark colored contrast against the ocean background with much diffused edges. The winds near the time of the image were approx. 15-20 kts out of the W UNCERTAINTIES: Confidence is medium high due to the anomaly’s appearance in satellite.
