REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate southeastward from the site of the destroyed Taylor platform, a known repeat leak source. The anomaly was faintly dark in color, with some white embedded near the suspected source, indicating possible thicker oil. The anomaly measured approximated 2.3 nmi in length and was up to 0.15 nmi in width. Winds at the time of the image were 7-10 kts from the NW, which aligned with the orientation of the anomaly.
