This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known Destroyed Taylor Platform. The anomaly was approximately 6.04 nm in length and approx. 0.05 nm in width. The silvery colored anomaly, characteristic of a relatively thin sheen, exhibited a low contrast against its homogeneous backbround. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SSW between 5-20 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
