REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended approximately 3.53 nmi to the northeast from the site of Wreck 1487, a known repeat oil leak source, and was up to 0.10 nmi in width. The anomaly stood out well against the background and had silver/white shimmer to part of the anomaly. Winds at the time of image were from the southwest at 10-15 knots, aligning well with the orientation of the anomaly. Confidence was determined to be high given the association with a repeat leak source and visible chromatic characteristics.
