REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate from the known shipwreck Andrea Doria. It was 1.22 nmi long, 0.09 nmi wide and located SW from the shipwreck. The anomaly appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the southwest at 15-20 knots. The confidence was determined high given the repeat leak nature of the suspected source and visible chromatic characteristics.

UNCERTAINTIES:
The wind direction did not align well with the anomaly.  Still, the distinct appearance of the anomaly and the repeat leak nature of the suspected source support high confidence that this was oil.
