This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to originate from the location of a known ship wreck (Cudahy), a source of repeat oil leaks. The anomaly was measured 4.1 NMI long and 0.09 NMI wide. The anomaly extends NE and then curves NW from the point source. The anomaly shows a dark colored contrast against the ocean background and is well removed from natural phenomenon.
