REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This report is associated with NRC # 1293212. The slick was linear in shape and was approximately 2.16 nm in length, had a strong contrast to the surrounding environment, and widened throughout its entirety. Winds at the time of the image were from the south at 12 kts, which aligned well with the northern movement of the anomaly.


UNCERTAINTIES: There was no known associated point source identified near the anomaly.
