REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was visibly connected to a point source which was about 8.66 nm west of the U.S. international waters boundary line. It was approximately 30.36 nm long (as a whole) and approx. 0.16 nm in width. The dark colored anomaly had moderate to high contrast against its homogeneous surroundings. Although the anomaly was segmented, the southern most portions widened with distance. Winds at the time of the image were coming from the NE between 15-20 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.



UNCERTAINTIES: The full extent of the image was unknown due to the satellite image being cut off.
