This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This anomaly was spotted off of the Mid-Atlantic coast and was approximately 2.12nm in length and 0.62nm at its widest point. Although there was no known point source, the anomaly appeared dark in satellite imagery with very good contrast to the surrounding water. The winds at this time were SW at approximately 10kts. UNCERTAINTIES: The point source for this anomaly was unkown, which kept our confidence at Medium.
