REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was detected in satellite imagery off the coast of Louisiana. This anomaly was approximately 5.87nm in length and 1.05nm at its widest point. The anomaly had a medium contrast to the surrounding scene. There were multiple oil facilities surrounding the anomaly, but it did not appear to be directly connected to any. Winds at this time were SE at 10 kts. 

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly was not connected to a point source, although there were several oil facilities in the area. Additionally, there were no reports of oil in the area. Due to these factors, our confidence was kept at Medium.
