**PLEASE NOTE THIS IMAGE IS 70 HRS OLDS**

REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approx. 82 NMI SSE from New Orleans, LA. The anomaly was measured approx. 8.8 NMI long and 1.37 NMI wide. The anomaly was easily discernible against the ocean background in spite of its close proximity to shore line and shallow waters. The anomaly appears to be emanating from a ship vessel located at the mouth of the Southwest Pass channel of LA.

UNCERTAINTIES: Although, a candidate vessel could be seen on satellite for possible bilge dump or spill, the anomaly remains in close proximity to shore line and shallows waters where false positives exists therefore a MEDIUM HIGH confidence is given for this assessment
