REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was linear in shape, had a strong and dark contrast to the surrounding environment, sharp well-defined edges and widened significantly from the possible source of a bilge dumping. The slick was located approximately 31nm southwest of San Clemente Island. The bilge dumping was approximately 10.46nm in length. Winds near the time of the image were from the northwest at 15kts.
