REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate west-northwestward from a point at or near the site of the SEACOR Power wreck approximately 7 nm south of Port Fourchon, LA. It measured approximately 4.2 nmi in length with some small gaps, and up to 0.12 nmi in width. It had a dark appearance with sharp edges against its background. Winds at the time of the image were around 10 kts from the SE.

UNCERTAINTIES: Thin clouds over much of the anomaly may have obscured the full extent of the anomaly.
