REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate northwestward from the site of the destroyed Taylor platform, a known repeat leak source, and measured approximately 6.0 nmi in length and up to 0.2 nmi in width. The anomaly generally had distinct edges and was dark against its background, and appeared to widen with distance from the suspected source. Winds at the time of the image were from the SE at 10-15 kts, which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to the repeat leak nature of the suspected source, there are no uncertainties.
