REMARKS:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly is believed to be associated with NRC Incident Report # 1307097 and extends for approximately 12.1 NM The anomaly appeared bright against the ocean background with and was indicative of an oil sheen in RGB imagery. Local wind data indicates that winds were out of the S at approximately 10 kts and aligns with the orientation of the anomaly. The NRC data suggest that this incident is the result of onsite repairs to a pipeline and that a silver and rainbow sheen was observed. Confidence was determined to be high given that the anomaly is associated with a confirmed NRC Report.

Uncertainties are minimal given its association to a confirmed NRC report.
