REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was centered approx. 115 NMI SE from Galveston, TX. The anomaly was measured 6.1 NMI long by 2.7 NMI wide. The anomaly features feathering, widening with distance and a bright white appearance. The winds near the time of the image were out of the SE at 10 knots, which aligns well with the orientation of the anomaly. The anomaly was believed to be associated with multiple NRC reports- #1307097 and #1307136.

UNCERTAINTIES: There is no uncertainty since the anomaly was believed to correspond to multiple NRC reports.
