REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be associated with both NRC #1307500 and #1307478. The fragmented anomaly as a whole was approximately 37.42 nmi in length and approx. 2.94 nmi at its widest. It had high contrast against its surrounding environment. Relatively thicker oil was present due to the shimmer, metallic, and white portions visibly seen on imagery. It also exhibited a feathering signature throughout its entirety. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SW at 11 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.

UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly was fragmented due to clouds in the vicinity. Also, both NRC reports mentioned above had two different locations but it was believed that the anomaly may have emanated from one source. The point source was chosen due to the majority of the relatively thicker oil located on the western end.
