REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The fragmented anomaly was believed to be emanating from the known Destroyed Taylor platform. As a whole, the anomaly was approximately 5 nmi in length and approx. 0.35 at its widest. It contained both thin and relatively thicker oil which was the long, thin white center portion. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the SW at 12 kts. which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.
