REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick appeared to emanate from the known repeat leak source, Wreck 1487 south of Nantucket Island, MA. The slick was approximately 6.06nm in length, and had a dark strong contrast to the background environment. Winds near the time of the image were from the south at 12kts.
