REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. This slick was associated with NRC #1307727 and the West Cameron 551 Discharge Hotline. The slick covered a large area that was approximately 12.1nm by 10.6nm. The slick appeared white and shimmery in optical satellite imagery, which is an indication that relatively thicker oil was present at the time of the satellite imagery. The image contains a few clouds but due to the satellite representation and the previous reports for this area, our confidence is High. Winds were ENE around 10-15kts.
