REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approx. 13.8 NMI ESE from Baytown, TX. The anomaly extends SSW for about 1.43 NMI from the source and was measured 0.16 NMI wide as its widest distance. The anomaly was discernible on high resolution satellite imagery but shows a poor contrast against the ocean background with poorly defined edges. The winds near the time of the image were out of the NE around 10 knots, which aligns well with the orientation of the anomaly.

UNCERTAINTIES: Although the anomaly can be seen emanating from a platform, however, the confidence level was reduced to a medium since the anomaly does not have a convincing oil like characteristics on satellite imagery.
