REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approx. 14 NMI ESE from Baytown, TX. The anomaly is linear in shape and extends SSW for about 0.33 NMI from the source and was measured 0.03 NMI wide as its average width distance. The anomaly stood out of place and showed a strong dark contrast against ocean background with diffused edges. The winds near the time of the image were out of the NE around 10 knots, which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly.

UNCERTAINTIES: The confidence level was assigned as a medium high since the anomaly can be seen emanating from a platform.
