REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The broken anomaly was about 11 NM in total length and about 0.12 NM wide within this scene. The anomaly had very good contrast with its background, had feathering and had an apparent point source--all hallmarks of a bilge dump in this instance. Additionally, an earlier-issued MPSR (north of this scene) and generated NRC report (#1311643) is highly-likely to be associated with this same anomaly. Winds were out of the WSW at 10 KT at the time of the image. Condisidering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
