REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended to the south first and then to the west and north approximately 3.76 nmi from the site of Wreck 1487, a known repeat oil leak source, and was up to 0.16 nmi in width. It appeared dark and had moderate contrast to its surroundings. Winds at the time of image were from the south at 10-15 knots. Confidence was determined to be high given the association with a repeat leak source.
