This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was compact in shape and was measured approx. 1.4 NMI long and 0.86 NMI wide as its widest distance. The anomaly showed a strong dark contrast against the ocean background and stood out of place. The winds near the time of the image were out of the W around 10 knots. UNCERTAINTIES: The source of the anomaly is unknown although there were several oil platforms adjacent to the observed anomaly.
