REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate northwestward and westward from an oil facility, and measured approximately 11.0 nmi in length and up to 0.35 nmi in width, with increasing width with distance from the suspected source. The anomaly appeared dark against its background with sharp edges, and was mostly distinct from nearby false positives. Winds at the time of the image were around 4 kts from the ESE. The anomaly was co-located with a previous anomaly in NRC report #1315497.

UNCERTAINTIES: The western end of the anomaly blended into natural phenomena, as so the exact extent of the anomaly was uncertain. However, the previous report from this location and the approximate alignment of the wind direction with the anomaly allowed for high confidence.
