REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was located southeast of Timbalier Bay and was approximately 1.67nm in length. Brighter returns were indications of possible thicker oil. Winds near the time of the image were from the southeast between 5-10kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: There were multiple oil platforms in the area so a direct point source could not be identified which kept our confidence at medium-high.
