REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended approximately 25 NM in total length by about 3 NM wide at its widest point, had very good contrast with its background, and had several unnatural turns. The anomaly location is coincident with anomalies identified in numerous previously issued MPSR's over the past several days. Many oil facilities exist in the vicinity of the anomaly. Winds were out of the SE at 5 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.
