REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. A large oil slick extended for more than 17 nm and was up to 1.3 nm wide at times. The slick is believed to be associated with the pipeline offshore south of Port Fourchon. Winds were from the north at around 10 kts at the time of the image.

UNCERTAINTIES: This is a known leak so there is little uncertainty. Another anomaly farther south will be the topic of a separate MPSR.
