REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly extended approximately 11 NM long by about 0.6 NM wide at its widest point, had good contrast with its background and had many unnatural turns. Additionally, the anomaly was believed to be associated with a repeat leak source. Winds were out of the SE at 5 KT at the time of the image. Considering the above factors, we have HIGH confidence in this assessment.


UNCERTAINTIES: Although the anomaly is highly likely to be related to a repeat leak source, numerous false-positives in region obscured its true extent.
