REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was approximately 5.38 nmi long and approx. 1.07 nmi at its widest. The dark colored anomaly had well defined edges and moderate to strong contrast against its surrounding environment. It was distinguishable from both natural phenomena and seeps in the area, and it appeared out of place, Winds near the time of the image were coming from the E at 10 kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: There was an oil pipeline in the vicinity that could've been a possible point source.
