REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was believed to be associated with Hotline #10361 - Oil report off Huntington Beach, CA and NRCs #1318437, #1318742, and #1318736. The anomaly was approximately 10.64 nmi long and approx. 4.60 nmi at its widest. The dark colored anomaly had well defined edges which had a moderate contrast against its surrounding environment. Winds near the time of the image were coming from the NW between 0-5 kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: The full extent of the anomaly, specifically on the eastern edge, was partially unknown due to low winds in the vicinity. Previous MPSRs, NRCs #1318742 and #13187366, significantly enhanced our confidence that the feature is oil. The white/bright pixels seen in the image were vessels.
