REMARKS:Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to be originating from the Wreck 1487 shipwreck site, a known repeat leak source. The anomaly extended N for about 0.70 NMI from the source and was measured 0.04 NMI wide as its average width distance. The anomaly showed a dark contrast against the ocean background and was far removed from natural phenomenon. The winds near the time of the image were out of the S around 15 knots which aligns well of the orientation of the anomaly.
