This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was linear in shape and was measured 1.9 NMI long by 0.21 wide as its average width distance. The anomaly stood out of place and showed a strong dark contrast against ocean background with diffused edges. The winds near the time of the image were out of the NE around 10 knots, which aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. UNCERTAINTIES: The source of the anomaly is unknown although there were several oil platforms adjacent to the observed anomaly.
