This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was located approximately 14 nm SW of Point Au Fer Island, LA, had sharp edges and showed high contrast against its surroundings. The anomaly was 1.6 nm long by .08 nm wide and appeared to emanate from an oil facility. Winds at the time were 0-5 kts from the west. UNCERTAINTIES: Despite false positives in the area, due to the apparent point source of the anomaly this report was given medium-high confidence.
