REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from an oil facility approximately 11.3 nm NE of Breton, Louisiana in the Breton Sound area. The anomaly was 3.1 nm long and .6 nm at its widest point. It stood out from other natural phenomena and a silvery sheen streak was observed which may have been thicker oil. Winds at the time were from the west at 10 kts.

UNCERTAINTIES: The extent of the possible oil was estimated due to cloud coverage over the southern reach of this location.
