REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The area of possible oil was seen in satellite imagery emanating from a vessel, indicating a possible bilge dumping. The vessel was located approximately 20nm ENE of Miami Beach, FL, just inside the United States EEZ. The possible oil measured approximately 7nm in length and 0.3nm at its widest point. The possible oil appeared to slightly widen with distance and had well defined edges, yielding the High confidence rating. Winds were S at 10-15kts at the time of the image.
