REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil was located 3.75 nm offshore in the Main Pass area of Louisiana and appeared to emanate from an oil facility. The possible oil stood out against the surrounding environment and showed an area of silver sheen, which was likely thicker oil. The possible oil measured 7 nm long and .06 nm across its widest point. Winds at the time were 5-10 kts from the E.

UNCERTAINTIES: Oil may extend farther to the SE but confidence was too low to include in this report.
