REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate southeastward from an oil facility and measured approximately 11.3 nmi in length and up to 0.5 nmi in width, with a meandering, curly pattern towards its eastern end. The possible oil appeared silvery in sunglint, with milky-white coloring suggesting thicker oil nearer to the suspected source. Winds at the time of the image were approximately 5 kts from the WNW.

UNCERTAINTIES: There were no known reports of an oil slick near this location. Clouds likely obscured portions of the oil slick, so the exact extent of the slick was unknown, and some portions of the analyzed slick were approximated.
