REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from the oil facilities. It was located in the Black Bay area of Louisiana, about 52 nmi to the SE of New Orleans. The slick extended approximately 3.03 nmi to the southwest and 2.57 nmi to the northwest, and measured 0.64 nmi at its maximum width. It appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the SSW at 5-10 knots. Confidence was determined to be Medium-High given that no specific point source could be identified, and no oil slicks were reported in the area.

UNCERTAINTIES:
A specific facility could not be determined as there were many in close proximity in this area.
