The suspected area of oil appeared to be emanating from an oil facility and meandering east in the Ship Shoal region of the Gulf of Mexico. The area was segmented and approximately 19.15nm altogether in length and 1.15nm at its widest point. The area appeared dark in satellite imagery with well defined edges. The area featured some feathering, which aligned well with the 15kt WSW winds at the time of the satellite imagery. This area is most likely related to a number of previous NRC reports and MPSR's, most recently NRC #1338263. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
