REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from the known West Cameron 550 pipeline break. It measured approximately 8.91 nmi in length and up to 0.14 nmi in width. The slick appeared bright/silvery and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the southwest at 5-10 knots, aligning well with the orientation of the slick. Confidence was determined to be high given the association with a known pipeline break and visible chromatic characteristics.

This slick was the subject of a previous report, NRC #1331443.
