REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. THe anomaly had a very good contrast with the surroundings, and was connected to an oil facility in the sourthen end in the ship shoal region. The main part of anomaly which was directly attached to the oil facility was 16nm long, while there are a few other anomalies in the vicnity to the west and north, which were likely also from the leak source. The anomaly was likely related to a number of previous NRC reports and MPSRs, mostly recently NRC #1338263 and 1338367, and hotline "Mon Forte Ship Shoal". The wind at the time was weak and at 2kt from the NW.


UNCERTAINTIES: There were a lot of broken clouds and  cloud shadows at the area, so the anomaly drawn around clouds are approximate.
