REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery.  The possible anomaly appeared to emanate from the Mon Forte facility in the Ship Shoal area of Louisiana, a known repeat leak source. The anomaly was approximately 1.85nm in length, and approximately 0.06nm wide. The anomaly had a darker appearance than the surrounding environment. Winds were out of the E at 5 kts.



UNCERTAINTIES: The anomaly appeared to converge with natural phenomena, but given that this is a known repeat leak source, and the winds, albeit low followed the direction of the anomaly give us our high confidence for  this report.
