REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil appeared to emanate from an oil facility in Terrebonne Bay, east Lake Pelto area of Louisiana. The anomaly measured 4.2 nm long and .3 nm at its widest point. The possible oil was distinguishable from other natural phenomena in the area and areas of thick oil were identified as a silver shimmer in parts of the anomaly. Winds were S 6kts, which aligned with the northern trajectory of the possible oil from the point source.

UNCERTAINTIES: The extent of the anomaly was estimated at the northern end due to false positives in this area.
