REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery.  The slick was linear in shape, had sharp well-defined edges, and appeared to emanate from the known repeat leak source Mon Forte Ship Shoal platform. The slick was approximately 4.35nm in length, brighter returns throughout the slick extents indicate thicker oil. Winds near the time of the image were out of the SW at 7kts, which aligned well with the trajectory of the slick. This report is associated with the most recent NRC report (NRC# 1341509).



UNCERTAINTIES: The full extent of the anomaly was obstructed throughout the anomaly by clouds and cloud shadows.
