REMARKS: Possible, unconfirmed oil was observed in satellite imagery. The possible oil was located in Trinity Bay in Texas, and was co-located with an MPSR from imagery 24 hours previous to this imagery (NRC report #1344841). The slick measured approximately 1.3 nmi in length and up to 0.08 nmi in with, extending ENE from the suspected source. The possible oil was dark-colored, and faintly distinct from its background, with diffuse edges.

UNCERTAINTIES: Clouds and cloud shadows near the possible oil may have obscured portions of the slick. The suspected source point was assumed based on the previous MPSR. The slick may have been a natural false positive. However, the previous report allowed for medium-high confidence that this was oil.
