REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly was measured approx. 24.08 NMI long and 6.77 NMI wide as its widest distance. The anomaly was generally compact in shape and it showed a very strong contrast against the ocean background with well-defined edges. The winds near the time of the image were out of the SE at 7 kts. The anomaly was located near and maybe associcated with Hotline 10511 and NRC reports from #1344742, #1344746 and #1344917.
